The basic strategy of Hope Community Church has been based on Jesus' last words to his disciples: "Go and make disciples..teaching them.". The first point here is to reach people (lead them to Christ) and the second is to teach people (educate and train them to live out the Christian life). We summarize this in our mission statement in this way: "To guide people to the true way of Jesus Christ"

Our goal is to have an exciting service that is contemporary, creative and relevant to life and offers people positive alternatives to life's difficult problems. We believe that people need God in their lives, that most really want Him in their lives. People need to change and learn and grow at their own level. Many will be able to discover God in their lives.

Once people are reached we want to teach them (Jesus' second point) at many different opportunities to learn, to serve, and to grow in their faith. We offer a variety of ways to grow from our services to small groups to informal gathering of friends.  We want every individual to use and develop their God given gifts and talents for Him and other people. Every individual is important to God, therefore reaching, teaching and ministering to our community will continue to be the vision of Hope Community Church.
