One of the ways to belong...

Very little is accomplished on our own. Most tasks are done alongside others with the same goals and passions.  We believe that every person has a part to play on our team. This is the way God provides all the resources that He knows we need. Whether you have little time or a lot of spare time, we know that there is a way for you to be involved and enjoy it.

You may have a gift or special talent that can lead Hope Community Church into a new arena of activity.  By involving yourself in one or two of the different teams, your sense of belonging will increase. "Why?" Because you are joining others in a team with the same goal and direction.  As the Church grows so will the number of groups.

If you have ideas or improvements don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss some of your ideas. Our goal is to create a place to belong to God and each other in a loving community.

Remember, you belong, you are needed, and God has a plan for your life.

WORSHIP TEAM

Our purpose in this ministry is to facilitate the practice of unbroken communion with God, which is the essence of Jesus' redemptive sacrifice.  For those who are musically inclined, the band might be the place for you. It requires a love for and talent of music, commitment to weekly practices and a willingness to be a team player.

If you love to sing, and you wish to be part of a dynamic, fun-loving group; look for upcoming announcements in our program re: tryouts and practices.

SET UP CREW

This involves setting up the school auditorium, Cornerstone Kids and the Little Builders Nursery. We have a number of teams offering their time and energy, but we always have room for more hands in this critical task. Many hands lighten the load.  Contact Ron Currie

GREETING TEAM

Making people feel welcome is an absolute must at Hope Community Church. If you are enthusiastic, energetic and like being around people, this may be the job you are looking for. Hope Community Church has greeters to welcome those coming to HOPE each Sunday. We want each person to feel welcomed and informed.  Contact John Onderwater

COFFEE CREW

If you enjoy a brew, (coffee that is) and you enjoy meeting people over a coffee Sunday morning, then you know what a great time this is. If you’d like to help make this happen, join the Coffee Crew. Contact Jamie Wing

OFFICE & PUBLICATIONS TEAM

Presently we have a few people helping out with the printing of and creation of various publications seen at Hope Community Church. Examples of the publications generated include the Sunday program, team brochures, daily correspondence, etc. If you are comfortable operating a computer or if you wish to help out with general office duties, you want to check this team out.

INFORMATION TABLE

People need to know some things to feel comfortable. At the Information table, we provide people with that information so they can feel comfortable and informed. Friendly people are needed here to help get what they need.  Contact George MacGill
